Also, our team comes from different medical backgrounds, allowing them to provide truly comprehensive care that’s all-encompassing.

Below, we’ve outlined a few of the many ways that we’re able to deliver you care so you can start improving your quality of life.

What We Treat

Our experienced team has helped thousands of people address a wide range of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, snoring, insomnia, narcolepsy, and more.

We offer both in-person and telesleep consultations, as well as non-surgical treatment options that can have a lasting impact on your quality of life and sleep.

Sleep Apnea

An estimated 22 million Americans suffer from the effects of obstructive sleep apnea, the most common type of sleep apnea, which causes episodes of being unable to breathe for 10 or more seconds due to blocked airways.

About 80% of those cases are estimated to remain undiagnosed, which could lead to dangerous health complications down the road. Our team tests for obstructive sleep apnea, as well as diagnoses and treats the problem to improve overall future health.

Snoring

Despite snoring signifying for many people that they have sleep apnea, just because you snore doesn’t mean that you have a sleeping condition and vice versa.

When the soft tissues within the mouth become too relaxed and vibrate while you breathe, it affects airflow and causes the loud noise we know as a snore to occur.

We offer various treatment options to minimize this issue and allow for you and your partner to have a more restful, quiet night of sleep.

Insomnia

An estimated one in four people in the United States struggles with insomnia, which is the inability to stay or fall asleep.

Whether having difficulty with short-term or chronic insomnia, people with this disorder often struggle both personally and professionally.

Fortunately, our team of sleep doctors and our licensed psychologist will work to unravel the causes of your insomnia so it can be treated and you can get the rest you need.

Nocturia

Using the bathroom frequently throughout the night isn’t always directly linked to drinking excessive amounts of liquids before bed. Instead, it may be a result of nocturia, which is estimated to impact more than 40 million people in the United States.

Not only can this make it hard to get a full night of rest, impacting your ability to interact in both professional and personal relationships, but it can also be a frustrating disorder to navigate alone. Fortunately, our team is here to help so you can get a good night’s rest.

Restless Leg Syndrome

Restless leg syndrome (RLS) is a condition in which your legs develop an uncontrollable urge to move.

Genetics and sex have been shown to impact whether you develop this problem, and it can worsen with age, becoming more uncomfortable over time.

Star Sleep & Wellness offers effective solutions by evaluating your medical history and analyzing your sleep study. After a formal diagnosis, we’ll personally design an answer to your RLS that’s right for you.

Parasomnia

Some examples of parasomnias include night terrors and sleepwalking. These are classified as unusual behaviors that occur before, during, or just before waking from sleeping.

They often can develop as a result of stress, depression, taking certain medications, irregular sleep schedules, or insomnia.

Our team will work with you to identify the root cause of your parasomnia and make a plan to address these disruptions to your sleep.
