Get to Know John

Sleep apnea can significantly impact mental health, cardiovascular health, social relationships, work performance, and even road safety. I got into sleep medicine to connect people with effective treatments that help them live longer, fuller lives.
As a Physician Assistant, I meet with patients and talk about their sleep with them. Then we decide what tests and treatments would be most helpful to improve their sleep. Many patients have persistent sleepiness or insomnia, and I assist with long term management of medical devices, medication, and behavior techniques for sleep.
I graduated from Rice University with a degree in kinesiology. I completed my Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at OSU Center for Health Sciences. I have previously worked as a Physician Assistant in gastroenterology and ENT.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing tennis and pickleball, and reading.
